Abstract: This thesis is a study of the Palestinian community in Malta. It is not a political study. The Middle East situation however, is briefly covered from the Palestinians' point of view. It is not in my competence to establish the causes or the source of the dispute in the region, however, one must include the Palestinians' various opinions concerning· the dispute, since this work concerns them as a minority group within a wider society, and since their presence in Malta is mainly the result of the situation. Secondly, this thesis also serves the purpose of exposing the Palestinians' views about their situation in Palestine claimed to be their own land.
