| Abstract: | To people living in hot climates the sun is something from which they must seek protection and relief o Excessive sunlight can cause glare: excessive solar heat can make people uncomfortably hot. Because of this, highly effective measures are needed in dwellings. Walls, roofs and openings must filter solar radiation and reduce it to a level acceptable in human comfort. |
