Abstract: Our society is characterized by maliguing. Rumors on the local profession of architect and civil engineer are abundant. One can frequently hear phrases like: “Architects’ bills are generally high” “Architect’s professional level is low” “Lack of supervision is very frequent” “University needs improvement” “Architects’ ethical level is low”. A great deal can be said about each of these statements. Are they correct? This heresay, makes a considerable impact with the general public, and is not beneficial to the global image of the profession. The aim of this dissertation is to study the present image and situation of the ‘perit’.
