Methodical guide to recording historic buildings

Abstract

There has clearly been a unsatisfying lack of information concerning interventions on historical monuments. This dissertation will include methods of providing a organised system of documentation before, during and after restoration works have been done. As part of my dissertation a study on recording systems presently used locally will be included. To achieve this a questionnaire was presented to architects that have been involved in the restoration of buildings in Malta.
