| Abstract: | The main scope of this study is to assess and evaluate how tourist guides are being affected by the increase of modern technology. Furthermore, the research question is to see if the role of a tourist guide is still significant in today’s modern world of technology. This long essay is based on tourist guides working in Malta that are working hand in hand with modern technology. This long essay will evaluate if these modern technologies whether mechanical or digital are helpful for their trade or if it is imposing a threat to their role. |
