| Abstract: | The object of this thesis is to design a ‘Radio and Television Centre' for Malta bearing in mind the technical and financial limitations of the island. The beginning of the design process from the architect's point of view is, to my mind, a thorough investigation with the ‘product’ and how it is produced. In designing a Radio and Television Centre my first objective was to learn how programmes were put together. This does not mean that I can produce a radio or television programme, or run a Broadcasting Centre, but I believe I do know how this is done in broad terms. |
