| Abstract: | Xanthogranulomatous inflammatory changes of the endometrium are rare and appear to be related to obstructive changes in the endocervical canal. An elderly patient with an advanced squamous carcinoma of the cervix uteri presented with this condition. Other similar cases are discussed in relation to aetiology and pathogenesis. |
