| Abstract: | Educational Scholarship across the Mediterranean: A Celebratory Retrospective, featuring a selection of articles published in the Mediterranean Journal of Educational Studies (MJES), marks the 25th Jubilee year since the first issue of the journal was published. Launching, managing and editing this journal has been a labour of love, which has taken a number of twists and turns that include its initial format as a biannual print-based publication (Volumes 1 to 12, 24 issues in all between 1996 and 2007), then as an online, open-access journal (Volumes 13 to 15, 6 issues in all between 2008 and 2010), and more recently as a thematic book series produced first by Sense (6 volumes in all published between 2011–2017), and now by Brill (3 volumes thus far, including this celebratory publication). |
