| Abstract: | This study is an analysis of the European Union's role in the endless fight against terrorism. Malta's role is also taken into consideration when it comes to defending itself against terrorism. The literature covers the period up till May 2008. The problems that the EU and especially Malta are faced with because of terrorism are discussed. Chronological events related with local and international terrorism are also evaluated. Sources of literature originating from international and governmental organisations are examined. |
