Abstract: One important theme that was part of the Prophets' message was a call to justice in human relationship. The message was directed to all people, especially to the wealthy and the powerful. My dissertation will show how this call to justice was part of the Covenant between God and His chosen people. The three prophets selected are Amos, Isaiah and Jeremiah, who each delivered this message in his own way. Social Justice is still the message relevant for today's world because it is only when we are just with each other that human dignity is respected.
