| Abstract: | Ever since the beginning of Christianity, the Church Fathers throughout the centuries felt the need of giving new interpretation of the Lord's Prayer. All the commentaries of the past reveal that everyone can understand the Lord's Prayer, yet it continues to reveal new depths of meaning and still transcend all explanations by the mystery of its transparent simplicity. Therefore the Lord's Prayer is in need of new explanations so that all generations will be able to comprehend it appropriately, but on the other hand, put in such clear and simple words, the most important thing required is a heart that will receive it and live it. |
