Abstract: In the present day, a universal revolution in information and communication technologies is happening. The internet together with the personal computer and the mobile phone are essentially changing our lives - affecting the way we work, gain knowledge and co operate with one another. e-Government is a means by which governments around the world can make use of such new technologies to grant people with more expedient access to government information and services, to enhance the quality of services and to offer the chance to facilitate participation in democratic institutions and processes. In other words, it is all about government organizations working together to use technology so that they can better provide individuals with government services and information. A great deal of it is about setting up common principles across government, distributing services more successfully, and offer ways for agencies to operate together using such technology. This project aims to deliver a Web Application System in the form of an ideal Local Council Website that will promote the exact concept of e-Government.
