Abstract: This report presents a review of a two-week's visit to Crescent College Comprehensive in Limerick, Ireland. In our visit, which took place between the 3rd and the 14th November 2003, we had the opportunity to observe the administration and management of the school, to observe aspects of teaching and learning and to acquaint ourselves with the educational programmes being adopted in Ireland. The report gives an overview of the Irish Educational system, origin and ethos of the school, the management set-up and staff role description. It also looks at the school life and policies at the school. A chapter deals with the management skills and strategies. Finally the conclusion shows the relevance of this study to the Maltese Educational system and offers recommendations for its improvement.
