| Abstract: | The advent of the Internet has brought about extensive facilities for academic and industrial organizations to share information and provide services in order to achieve the respective goals. Web Services are considered as being a key feature of the Internet which help to achieve the mentioned targets. Many organisations are putting effort in the Semantic Web which is believed to be as the next generation of the Internet giving special importance to Web Services by enhancing them to provide semantic meaning to the information they provide. Such efforts gave rise to various markup languages including WSDL (Web Services Description Language), RDF (Resource Description Framework), OWL (Web Ontology Language) and OWL-S (where "S" stands for services). The aim of this project is to provide a framework for an 0 WL-S Editor in which a semantic description for a Web-Service can be developed easily and possibly hiding the (at times) complex constructs which this markup comprises. At the heart of the framework is a wizard (named "OwlsWiz") which will help the user to create such a semantic description from an existent WSDL file. |
