Abstract: 162° Circolo Didattico di Roma comprises two maternal and elementary state schools situated near Tomba di Nerone, north of Rome, Italy. Through the formulation and implementation of the Piano dell'Offerta Formativa (POF), the two schools, Parco di Veio and Morro Reatino are geared towards the full autonomous management of administrative, curricular and extra-curricular work. The Direttore Scolastico supported by a collegial framework based on the Collegio dei Docenti and the Consiglio di Circolo is focusing on providing all students with an equal opportunity to experience lifelong education. However, most importantly, the many aspects of school management and curricular activities can be successfully applied in our Maltese schools.
