| Abstract: | Before reading through this thesis, the reader should be informed that this MacDAC system is the first version produced, which although took 7 full time months to do, is far from complete! Since it is not practical to write all the information in this thesis, the lengthy program listings have been omitted and replaced by FLOWCHARTS. On the other hand, an exception exists where it was thought to give part of a LISP program listing in order to explain the structure of this language which is not very familiar. For those curious readers who would like to know the origin of the name MacDAC, this was derived from the buzz word CADCAM but written in reverse! |
