Abstract: In the first part of my report, I gave a description of Aberdeen and the Scottish Education System. In the second part, I focused on the organization of Quarryhill Primary School referring also to its aims and to some classroom procedures. A description of the plan of the school is also given. I devoted the third part to the curriculum of the school, taking also into account the school policies and forms of assessment. In part four, I wrote about how the head and the deputy head manage the school with particular reference to initiatives taken at school. All along the way, I made references to those things which could be implemented in the local situation for a more effective and efficient school administration. The last part deals about the conference which we attended. This is followed by the Appendices which include some of the school's pro-forma letters.
