Abstract: Our study aims to identify a number of significant constraints encountered by teachers in state schools, and the relationship between these constraints and teacher efficacy and work performance. We will group these constraints in three major levels: - Societal - Institutional - Personal. In our study we will adopt qualitative methodology, as our aim is not to give a statistical value but to expose certain issues, which may be responsible for teacher stress in state schools.
