Abstract: Saint Bernadette Primary School is a Catholic School in Melbourne Australia The school population represents the diversity of cultural backgrounds in the Australian society. This school is run by an outstanding principal who has a clear vision of what she wants to achieve. She is willing to empower and motivate her staff. She trusts her teaching staff and believes in their potentials, and she is always there to give them support. On the other hand, the teaching staff is dedicated and committed and teachers work creatively together as a team to see their school improve. Although many of the things observed at Saint Bernadette Primary School cannot be applied to the Maltese situation, there are many lessons to be learnt from this experience.
