Abstract: With the advent of the Internet, a number of new methods that allow us to share information have emerged. One of the most promising technologies in this field is peer-to-peer networking. Peer-to-peer networking allows for the creation of autonomous networking communities that share knowledge that is of particular interest to its members. Integrating the extensive implementation of peer-to-peer networks on university campuses with the recent shift towards team and project based work (rather than individual work) a new genre of tool emerges: Peer-to-peer collaboration. This project aims to provide an environment that integrates the most common collaborative tasks, such as calendar sharing and white boards, in a single workspace in order to provide knowledge workers with a more efficient way to communicate and collaborate.
