Abstract: Having read Pope Paul's UNO speech where His Holiness stressed the obligation of a full and free life worthy of man, and looking at everyday life around me and in the world at large, where unfair distribution of material goods make men, our brothers in Christ, live an undignified life, where the position of two-thirds of the women of the world is still inhuman, where the food is destroyed rather than sent to those dying of hunger, where agricultural workers have not yet been taught how to use modern machinery and hence perishing through what should give life, where strife and hatred are making of brothers enemies, and of man a beast, I felt that all this must be due to our inadequate knowledge and appreciation of the Dignity of Man.
