Abstract: Going through Judge Bonello's dissenting judgments at the European Court of Human Rights on a myriad of subjects is, in itself, a thrilling experience. Irrespective of whether or not one agrees with his views, some of them liberal and radical but all of them well thought out and reasoned, one certainly admires the style, prose and, in a certain measure, the music of most of his statements. They exude a brilliant mind, but above all an ardent love for the subject which has illuminated, in a most formidable and prevailing way, his legal career-human rights law. [excerpt]
