Abstract: | In the following thesis all the cited references can be found on the internet, although there are published versions of the government programmes and reports mentioned, one can only acquire them directly through the offices responsible for their publishing, information on where one can acquire the published versions of these reports is also stated in the thesis. The methods of research used apart from advising the relevant literature on the subject is the substantial use of consultations, interviews and discussions with people working in the field, this approach is used since certain printed material, especially that regarding the local catholic aspect of the thesis is still somewhat scarce and heavily fragmented. The thesis is handled through some what of a qualitative approach merging rigid government publications with a more realistic human point of view. The final chapter adopts a different style from the first three, in that while the first three generally tend to assume the shape of a study, the last chapter has a considerably more structured format while taking on a style of writing that is simpler, less theoretical and increasingly more practical. |
