Nineteenth and early twentieth century were no easy times. The French scientist and priest, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin broke the ice of a long-standing approach in the study of spirituality which cost him a dear price to pay in his life. With his original ways of blending matter and spirituality, he, ultimately, contributed to both society and religion. From his genius of linking science with spirituality, we are having the benefit in the twenty-first century.
We explore Teilhard de Chardin’s way of bringing the relationship of science with spirituality, and his great contribution to contemporary spirituality. Of interest is his unique approach in dialogue with unbelievers.
