The fourth edition of festAmbjent, held between 16 and 20 February, was a resounding success. Throughout the week, students and staff engaged with a wide range of activities that encouraged critical reflection and open discussion on pressing environmental issues relevant to Malta and beyond.
The programme offered a valuable mix of seminars, exhibitions, interactive stands, and discussions, providing students with opportunities to approach environmental themes from multiple academic and practical perspectives. The newly introduced Q&A session, L-Ambjent taħt il-Lenti – Mistoqsijiet bla Kantunieri, was particularly well received, fostering honest dialogue and thoughtful debate.
Jeremy Attard, Dimitri Pace Ross and Nicholas Chukwuma Obi were the winners of the competition organised by the Argotti Botanic Gardens and Resources Centre.
A total of €360 was raised through the cake sale in support of our JC cats.
The Committee extends its sincere thanks to all those who collaborated and contributed to making this event a success. Their continued support and engagement are essential in promoting environmental awareness within the JC community.
