Stargazer Astronomy Group has concluded its activities for this academic year with a visit to the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy labs at the University of Malta. There, the students were given details about the research being carried out by the academics and researchers, as well as hands-on solar sun-spots observations using a filtered telescope. In previous sessions, the students had a nighttime telescope observation session in conjunction with the Department of Physics during the Applied Physics Workshop at Dingli and a lecture session at the Junior College on Cosmology and Astronomy.
