Data Smackdown Enrichment Programme Unit

For the third time, Malta will be participating in the European Statistics Competition (ESC), organised by Eurostat, during 2027. Students aged 14-18 can participate as individuals or as a team of at most 3 members.  Students first participate in a national competition, where the winners will proceed to the European competition.

Students interested in participating can join the EPU from the Data Smackdown information page.

If you have any queries please send an email to Dr Christina Zarb.  As part of the EPU, preparation sessions will be held.  The competition is open to all students who are interested in data analysis and statistics.

I encourage you to participate as this is an excellent opportunity for you all!
