From immigration to fake news, the world’s problems are becoming ever more complex, needing diverse teams of people working together to solve them. SciCulture (ERASMUS+ funded) is a new intensive course that’s bringing students and professionals from artistic, scientific and entrepreneurial fields together on a 5-day intensive course in Greece this April. Grant opportunities are open till the 14 February.
The course brings together trainers and speakers from all over Europe. They will be mentoring participants to address a community issue. There will be short lectures and hands-on workshops coupled to a design thinking process in order to find the best solution to the problem according to the user’s needs.
The workshops will cover a range of topics which participants can choose from. The speakers from Bergen excel in Climate Change issues and the Antropocene concept, while able to cover Artificial Intelligence, and the future of food. The speakers from Malta specialise in genetics and communications. While Science View from Greece are experts in science theatre. Exeter’s experts have years of experience in performance arts merged with science. The Design Thinking process will be led by TU Delft, Netherlands - promising a unique experience for attendees.
