Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program 2025-2026

The U.S. Embassy is delighted to announce that the 2026-2027 Fulbright Visiting (Maltese) Scholar Program competition is now open, and the deadline to apply is 30 November 2025.

As the coordinators of the Fulbright Program in Malta, we appreciate your partnership and work to foster Fulbright’s mission of increasing mutual understanding, building lasting connections and advancing knowledge. In our efforts to recruit high-quality applicants for Fulbright awards in Malta, we invite you to refer Maltese colleagues and peers, with whom you may already collaborate, and other eligible Maltese citizens who may be interested in participating in this program.

Fulbright offers opportunities for faculty and professionals to teach, research, and exchange ideas in U.S. educational institutions. Fulbright Scholars come from all academic and professional backgrounds.
