RIDT Overseas Conferences Grants for Doctoral Researchers

The Doctoral School is pleased to announce the sixth call for applications for the University's Research, Innovation & Development Trust (RIDT) travel grants which allow Ph.D. students to present their research overseas.

Registered UM Ph.D. students who have transferred their studies, are encouraged to submit their application through the dedicated Application form (Form A) , by Friday 31 October 2025. "Attending the 32nd CIRP Conference on Life Cycle Engineering (LCE25) in Manchester was a truly transformative experience that inspired me both personally and academically. Engaging with experts in sustainable manufacturing offered valuable insights and broadened my perspective on emerging trends in the field. Presenting my work and taking part in the various sessions not only boosted my confidence but also helped me refine how I communicate my research. The feedback I received was incredibly helpful and has already shaped my thinking moving forward. I’m very grateful for the funding support, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the experience. I returned with new ideas, fresh motivation, and meaningful connections that will continue to benefit my studies and future career."
