Seven new scholarship schemes worth €8 million have been launched, offering opportunities for Maltese and Gozitan students to further their studies across a wide range of fields.
The schemes support everything from Master’s and PhD programmes to postdoctoral research, as well as specialised training in areas like the arts, sports, and languages.
Among the key schemes are Endeavour II (Master’s level), TESS (Master’s and PhD), Reach High II (postdoctoral research), and Live the Language (language training abroad).
Others, such as arts and sports scholarships and Achieve 360, cater to students pursuing creative or athletic paths alongside their studies.
Funded through national and European resources, the initiative aims to invest directly in students’ skills and future careers. Officials highlighted that such schemes are central to building a more skilled and competitive workforce in Malta.
Applications are now open online through the national scholarship portal.
