Dr. May Saab, Assistant Dean and Associate Professor at the Pharmaceutical Technology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon, has successfully completed a staff mobility program at the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Malta. This unique opportunity was funded by the Erasmus+ ICM teaching mobility program, which fosters international academic and research collaborations. Dr Saab delivered several lectures in advanced drug delivery systems for undergraduate pharmacy students, highlighting their importance, approaches of manufacturing and their various applications. Moreover, Dr. Saab conducted an engaging session about nanocarriers as a part of advanced drug delivery systems in terms of innovations, challenges and future directions to postgraduate students, which sparked their interest in this field. Dr. Saab has joined a departmental meeting headed by Prof. Lilian Azzopardi, that was marked by fruitful discussions that laid the groundwork for future professional collaborations. The productive exchange of ideas highlighted the strong potential for a sustainable partnership that will contribute to the advancement of education and research at both universities. Such positive outcomes reaffirm the significance of academic mobility in fostering international partnerships. Funded by the European Union.
