The UM welcomes 42 new Kuwaiti students

The Ambassador of Kuwait, His Excellency Mr Meshal Almodaf and the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr Faraj Alhajeri were invited to join a meeting that was organised to welcome both the new Kuwaiti scholarship and private students joining the University of Malta this year.

A total of 42 new Kuwaiti students commenced their studies this October, joining the other 117 Kuwaiti students presently pursuing studies at the UM. Kuwait represents one of the largest international student communities on campus and well over the 151 Kuwait students who have graduated from the UM since the start of the collaboration between the University of Malta and the Ministry of Higher Education of Kuwait 25 years ago.
