The complexities of intellectual property rights and how to navigate through them raises many questions. The Patent Library Centre (PATLIB) network aims to demystify the patent process and provides guidance on the practical tools which can help transform an idea into a protected, viable innovation.

The University of Malta is proud to be launching Malta’s first PATLIB through its Knowledge Transfer Office, together with the support of the European Patent Office and the Commerce Department, Malta. Join us on Friday 28 November at 10:00 for a half day, in-person event for simultaneous networking and learning together with European experts, to understand how the UM PATLIB can support you. The event will be held in VC101, IT Services Building at the University of Malta, Msida.

  • A Panel discussion on "IP as a Strategic Asset".
  • Details on national Support Schemes for Inventors and SMEs.
