We are excited to invite you to join us for The Daily Mile at UM, starting Tuesday, 11 November. We will meet at the Gateway at 12:35 pm, where Colette Abdilla and Oliver Mallia will be waiting for you. 

For the first five sessions, we’ll walk together to familiarise everyone with the route. We will walk for about 15-20 minutes on any day you prefer. Afterwards, staff can run this daily activity independently.

This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to improve your physical, social, and mental well-being by simply walking together during the day. Research shows The Daily Mile helps increase fitness, mood, and concentration.

Please let us know if you’re interested and share any other suggestions or queries related to sport and physical activity by filling in the Google form—it only takes 2 minutes. 

This initiative is organised by the Institute for Physical Education & Sport in collaboration with the Office for Human Resource Management & Development, based on feedback from the UNI-PAS staff survey. It is the first of many activities planned to promote wellness at UM.
