Carnival Lunchtime Initiative on Campus

On 17 February, the University of Malta will host a Carnival-themed lunchtime initiative from 12:30 to 13:30 on the University Quadrangle. This event offers staff and students a fun and relaxing break from their daily routines.

Designed to bring the university community together, the initiative encourages social interaction and a shared moment of enjoyment in a festive setting. With Carnival being a key cultural celebration in Malta, the event will feature a live band in Carnival costumes and masks, reflecting the spirit of the season while promoting a sense of community within the University.

Staff and students are encouraged to bring Carnival-themed props and masks to fully embrace the occasion and contribute to the colourful, celebratory atmosphere.

The initiative is coordinated by the Conferences and Events Unit, in collaboration with the Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) and Festivals Malta.
