The Department of Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Malta will be hosting a series of three talks titled “Talks on the Arab World” on 2 June 2026, from 16:00–18:00 in CHBO 316.
The talks bring together a range of topics, including contemporary Arab comics, historical connections between Arabs and Sardinia, and popular performance in twentieth-century Tunisia. They are designed to be engaging and accessible to a wide audience, including those who may not necessarily specialise in Arabic or Middle Eastern studies.
It would be great if you could join us. If you know anyone who may be interested, whether colleagues, students, or members of the public, please feel free to invite them along.
