On European Perioperative Nurse Day (EPND), celebrated across the continent in February, perioperative professionals, healthcare organisations, and supporters come together to raise awareness of the critical role nurses play in ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
The University's Department of Nursing within the Faculty of Health Sciences is joining in the call to raise awareness, advocate for change, promote professional growth and most of all empower nurses with the necessary knowledge, resources and opportunities to meaningfully contribute to the profession.
Together with students from the MSC Nursing (Perioperative Care), the Department is organising a Seminar on Friday 20 February 2026.
