Professor Vincent Goodstadt
Vincent is an Honorary President of the European Council of Spatial Planners, a Past President of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Vice-President of the Town and Country Planning Association, an Honorary Professor (University of Manchester), a Fellow of the Academy of Social Science and an expert advisor for the Design Council (UK). He is also involved in the steering groups of the UK2070 Commission and the Global Planners' Network.
He has had a range of international roles including with the European Environment Agency, European Council of Spatial Planners, the European metropolitan planning METREX network, the OECD and the University of Pennsylvania, and currently on the Habitat Professional Forum Working Group (post-Covid recovery).
He has held a range of senior management posts in local government, including responsibility for strategic planning, economic development, regional transport and environmental policies and is now an advisor to the public, private and voluntary sectors on urban regeneration, strategic planning, and collaborative planning in the UK, Europe and the USA.
