Our mission is to enhance the University's commercial, environmental and socio-economic impact on a national and international level. We aim to facilitate the technology commercialisation process of putting new knowledge and the generated research results into practical use for the benefit of our society and industry.

One of the key functions of the Office is the management of University generated intellectual property.  A number of resources, policies and procedures have been set up so as to safeguard the proper management of every form of intellectual property, including know-how.

We also provide support for Industry-Academia collaborations, such as identifying the right technical expertise required for contracted research or consultancy. The University regularly applies for funding for research projects and regularly seeks to partner with public and private entities to collaborate on such proposals and are also interested in joining new research projects.
