Abstract: This case report outlines the presentation of a patient with systemic amyloidosis affecting the liver, small intestine and heart. The illness was associated with proliferation of plasma cells and a monoclonal IgG immunoglobulin in plasma and urine. The histological appearances and clinical features of hepatic amyloidosis are discussed.
