Abstract: Juvenile delinquency is a phenomenon of great concern to our society. This Research study aims to go through a general overview of the major debates in the area of Youth Offences within Gozo which directly involves the analysis of various ranges of structures which have addresses the issue of Juvenile Delinquency. In particular, this study also tries to provide additional information with the very few recent researches that were carried out in Gozo about the Origin of Offences, and the major developments in Youth Offences. It will also consist of examining the nature and extent of Young Offending and how youth inquiry is frequently problematised through issues of crime and disorder. A qualitative research method was adopted for the purpose of this study, which entailed face-to-face interviews. The sample population consisted of thirteen different professionals having experience in working with adolescents exhibiting delinquent behaviour. Ethical considerations were given a high regard in order to conduct this research. Important points that arose from the findings and results include the need of further improvement in current services as well as residential settings for juveniles The introduction of Youth Offences was given great emphasis, whereas it highlights the need for unity and liaison amongst services for juveniles with delinquent behaviour. Such findings were also supported by past local and foreign studies in this field. It also explores the various approaches and interventions carried out with juveniles exhibiting delinquent behaviour. Going through and explain their attitude, behaviour and expectations one will come to mind by the manner such issues are either dramatized or moralised. This work will assists in understanding better the issues of Gozitan Youths and all Offences committed by them ending up in Juvenile Court. This research study will be a useful tool for all those who work for assistance of young people in Gozo. Additionally, there is the need for further research to convey a voice to youths, and more professionals working in the field, who may express their opinions about the implementation of services and interventions.
