| Abstract: | Striving to develop a baseline spatial information system for cross-domain thematic analysis, Malta has embarked on a project aimed at integrating the environmental themes in their wider aspect: the natural, physical and social domains. Targeting the full data-cycle, the project focused on various activ- ities: strategy drafting, data capture, information system development, acquisition of technologies, ter- ritorial zone scanning and ultimately, the development of a Shared Environmental Information System aimed at disseminating all the data for free to the general public. |
