| Abstract: | This review is based on drugs used currently in Malta for the relief of pain in labour and during delivery. In my opinion the quality of analgesia offered in Malta during labour and delivery can be improved. The best possible anaesthesia is available for operative delivery as evidenced by the absence of maternal deaths associated with anaesthesia. |
