| Abstract: | Gherq Sinjur - Ghirch Signur – Cynomorium Coccineum Linn is a medicinal plant found on the Hagret il-General. This plant was thought to have medicinal properties. It was used by surgeons to decrease bleeding following certain injuries and surgery, during the reign of the Knight of St. John. Its importance today lies in its historical associations and not in its therapeutic properties, which in the light of modern science are non-existent. |
