| Abstract: | ALBEIT INTRODUCED with a hackneyed cliché, this event truly went where no one had gone before: a two day academic meeting devoted solely to Star Trek. The first Star Trek Symposium was held in Malta at the Dolmen Hotel on the 10 and 11 July, 2014, and was organised by Victor Grech and David Zammit. The event was opened by the US Ambassador to Malta, Her Excellency Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley. Faculty was varied, with an interesting preponderance of medical doctors. |
