Abstract: | Like in any other language, the Maltese language grows and changes by continuously introducing new foreign words and new meanings into the vocabulary. In this article, the author points out that there need to be more regulations and a better way to merge the new vocabulary. Saydon gives a few examples of words which, in his opinion, are being spread and overused and are as a result tainting the Maltese language of even the best writers. |
