Abstract: This editorial refers to the spirituality that surrounds the eastern countries. At first, Aquilina compares European women's clothing to that of Indians and Persians, but then continues to analyse the mystical ways that India and Persia look at souls. He writes about the prominent mystical Persian poet Rumi. Here he translates two of Rumi's poems in Maltese : "In-niket tal-mejtin" and "Rqad u nisi"
