Abstract: According to author Paul Cassar, the mentioned graduates deserve remembrance primarily for their association with the Maltese medical school which, at the time of their studies, was in its evolutionary phase. Although the University of Malta was temporarily abolished by the French during their occupation of the islands, it was promptly re-established on the 6th of November 1800 after the arrival of the British.
