| Abstract: | During 1974 the Group was initially composed of seven ringers: S. Borg, C. Ganci. T. Gauci, B.K. German, J. Grech, J. Sultana and V. Vella Muscat. V. Cilia obtained his permit in August, while three active trainees - J. Azzopardi, M.V. Ganci and C.A. Pomeroy completed their training late in the year and received their permits in December bringing the total number of ringers to eleven. The total number of birds ringed in 1974 amounted to 3,131 of 85 species, the highest total in the Group's nine years of existence. |
